After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, he co-founded a partnership firm in 1966, which was later reconstituted in 1970. Under his leadership, the firm expanded its presence across multiple cities, employing a strong team of Chartered Accountants, Cost Accountants, and semi-qualified professionals.
With over five decades of experience, he has handled Central Statutory Audits of leading public sector enterprises, major banks, and companies across the manufacturing, service, and trading sectors. His expertise also includes internal audits, concurrent audits, and tax planning for large organizations.

To further strengthen his professional expertise, he has successfully completed specialized certification programs conducted by ICAI, including:
- Forex and Treasury Management (FXTM) – Certified by the Committee on Financial Markets and Investors’ Protection, ICAI.
Contributions to ICAI & Professional Community
- Past Chairman of the Bhubaneswar and Brahmapur Branches of the Eastern India Regional Council (EIRC) of ICAI.
- Co-opted Member of the Students Skills Enrichment Board (Board of Studies – Operations) for the year 2022-23.
